Body fat percentage vs BMI
BMI (Body Mass Index) is a simple height-to-weight ratio used by doctors as a quick screening tool. But it has a significant flaw: it can't distinguish between muscle and fat. A 90kg person who is lean and muscular will have the same BMI as a 90kg person with high body fat.
Body fat percentage directly measures what proportion of your bodyweight is fat tissue — making it a much more relevant metric for fitness and health goals.
